“I’m just a plumber you know…

I could see just his legs from the knees down, he somehow managed to get most of a 6 feet 4 inch body inside our bathroom vanity to fix a leak…NO SUCH THING AS JUST A PLUMBER.

I am the son of a working stiff, a Sears salesman, my wife is the daughter of a Buffalo, NY Fire Fighter, we grew up paycheck-to-paycheck, the labels on my school clothes read…Sears…and bb’s clothes there wasn’t a label unless bb sewed one in herself when she was making the clothes or fixing the hand-me-downs.

Both of us were mocked about how we looked and where we came from.

Dignity is justice for all, no matter where you come from, no matter what you do.

“Just a plumber, are you kidding me dude, I can’t do what you do, to be honest I’m impressed with how you do what you do, never apologize for who or what you are, if you are honest, kind, caring you are what I always call the Kind in Man, it’s an honor to know you my friend.”

Dignity, not a trait we need to survive but one we need to be human.
