I’m told it looks like “Shabby Chic” instead of I spilled some paint on it chic…but I don’t think it looks awful, I’ve seen a lot worse of those “chic” paint spills on Etsy. The slate comes from a 1700’s era barn roof in New England, will try and string some hemp rope through the nail holes but I’m not good at that, I may just cut off a bunch of the rope and let you see how good you are at that. Yep, more spilt paint, this time on wood. It’s wood from an old mid-west chicken coop, can’t tell ya how old it is that would stand up in court because I asked the owner 3 times how old it was and he gave me three different numbers: 30 years old, 80 years old, 93 years old so I figure you just pick the years old you want it to be. Sounds fair. It is 18 inches long and about 3 inches or so wide, can stand on it’s own but I’ll stick in all the stuff you need to hang it if thats what you feel like doing, and if I remember to actually do that.
